Kyle Edmund Continues His Tear Through the Australian Open 2018
Kyle Edmund does it again!
Earlier today, Kyle has proven the UK betting apps right after beating Denis Istomin, his second opponent in the Australian Open 2018. After his lengthy match against Kevin Anderson on Monday, it was nice to see Kyle secure a win in such a dominant fashion.
Even Kyle reflected on this in his Eurosport interview and had this to say. “Today, the scoreline was a little bit more straightforward. I’m very happy. It was a professional performance. After having four hours on court on Monday, to get it done a lot quicker today will do me good.”
A swift victory!
Kyle took care of Denis in just under 1 hour and 30 minutes, claiming all three sets (6-2, 6-2, and 6-4). Unfortunately, the Uzbek was dealing with a foot injury throughout the whole match. This became visible later in the game as he started to limp.
What can we say other than congrats Kyle on your victory! Of course, we hope that he will continue his tear through the Australian Open 2018. His next opponent is Nikoloz Basilashvili, currently ranked as the No. 61 on the Men’s Singles ATP list. The two will meet on Friday, January 19th around 01:00 am GMT.
